An Astrological Threshold –

This is a much discussed and anticipated week astrologically. We’re entering another eclipse corridor, where significant changes tend to occur psychologically over a 2 week period. On the same day a New Moon and Solar Eclipse occur in Aquarius, as we come into the Chinese new year of the Fire Horse (17th February 2026) If you’ve felt a need for more passion, momentum and innovation in your life, I’d hold on tight to your saddle!

Also, on Friday the 20th February 2026 we’re stepping over a threshold metaphorically, with Neptune and Saturn both at 0 degrees in Aries. This is like a huge clock which has come back full circle, as Neptune has just taken 165 years to complete its circuit of the 12 signs and is ready to enter its next phase. Zero Degrees Aries is a reset point and it’s incredibly rare for both Neptune and Saturn to be at exactly the same point and time together. Astrologically this week provides the potential for a massive re-boot in our lives, as Neptune begins its next circuit around the clock and much needed change can occur.

This is a time for reflection and recognising our outdated, and limiting patterns, releasing whatever we can, no matter how uncomfortable it feels at times. It is essential this week for us to take some time and make space for much needed breakthroughs. If we’ve been doing the inner work, they are on their way!

Fire and Forge

Just before writing this blog I found an entry in my journal which I had written during Sept last year when we were also going through eclipse season. If you’re a creative or sensitive like myself, you may relate to these deeper moments when bigger change is underway and it feels like you’re in the mixer of life. I don’t think it’s by accident that I came across that entry today as it seems very relevant to this week and have shared it with you below.

“When my voice is quiet, I am forging. Creating a way through a difficult path that hasn’t been done before. It’s requiring every ounce of strength and focus. And so, I am quiet today and maybe even tomorrow, or the day after, or the month after that. I am still here, opening to love, opening the heart and processing its cries through the ages. Wiping it clean. Clean and renewed, ready to go on again more whole.

The fires at the forge have burned through me and my life and swept away all. All except what I need and who I am. Love is what is left when all else is stripped away. Peace, love and strength. Not my own strength, but the strength of all those that go with me and light my path and way. And to them I extend endless gratitude, for without them it would not be possible at all.”
